Domino
Name of the pieces, or tiles, in a set of dominoes. The term is also used to refer to the act of playing the last tile in a player's hand.
Boneyard
The boneyard is where dominoes that were not dealt are stored. When a player runs out of moves, they draw from the boneyard until they draw a tile that they can play.
Hand
A hand is the set of dominoes held by a player. The initial hand dealt at the start of a match contains 7 dominoes.
Pips
The pips are the dots etched on the ends of a domino and represent the value of that particular end. The pips on the loser's dominoes are used to calculate how many points the winner earns at the end of a round.
